As the activity grows so does technology, and before now there has really only been one option for viewing your drill on the go. In 2024, Field Artist will launch their version of UDB. The best part… it is totally 100% free!!! No added price to your staff, students, or your program at all. A simple login and you will be able to view your show on your phones and tablets. Many features will be available to help you and your band learn drill more effectively: full top view drill animation, individual highlighted members, set by set highlighted live pathways, digital coordinate charts, click on any member at any STEP in the drill to see their name and exact coordinate (live coordinates), and so much more! This is animated drill charts at your fingertips! Made from the ground up for Field Artist this new feature is your one stop shop for learning drill with your band. Custom Drill Design with full show consultation: You will receive a complete custom drill package catered to your exact band size. Full show consultation includes everything from selecting music, picking a show theme, designing props and field placement of props, storyboarding, helping with flag selections, helping with uniform ideas, and more! The consultation can be as much or as little as you want. And it is not about everything I want to do for your show, it’s about working together to form a show that is cohesive, achievable for your members, and memorable. The more we work together on the total design the more successful the show will be!

Free Drill Re-Writes: Do you dislike when you receive drill and it is not quite what you were looking for? Or perhaps another idea came to mind after the drill was written? Or maybe you just want to see the drill played out differently in a certain section? Well worry no more as infinite re-writes in the drill are now included!

Alternates Drill Line: You can now have an "alternates" line written into the drill at no extra charge. This is for competitive bands mostly that prefer not to march everyone in their competition show. The alternate line will be written into the show so that they too can perform for football games and gain experience on the field, but the alternates forms can be taken out completely for competition. The alternates line generally has simple drill in the back of the field BUT it does connect with forms with the band as well in many areas.

A Custom Website For Viewing: You will be given a special URL that leads you to a private password protected page. This page will have all the most recent videos of the animation of your show. It will also have an area to download all the PDFs included in the show like the drill charts and the coordinate charts for your members. This could be a nice hub for you, your staff, and members to access your show and print extra copies of charts when needed. And by request I can also include a section where people can comment with questions, or have general discussions about the season.
